February – ONLINE Beginning Beekeeping Class – Spring Management
February 28 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm$25
About this Event
Welcome to Beekeeping 105! This class will cover basic hive management for bees that have survived the winter and are ready to thrive in the spring. Key topics will include spring feeding, swarm management, making splits, and early inspections.
Who should attend? New beekeepers and those who will become beekeepers. This is primarily focused on beekeepers who have successfully overwintered honeybee colonies and are preparing for the spring flow. While not critical, we do recommend taking the classes in sequence as they build upon each other.
